Yellowstone National Park reminded me that sometimes the best thing you can do for your business is step away from it.
With little to no cell service, I traded emails, calls, and constant notifications for hiking, horseback riding, fresh air and white water rafting and what I’ll call the “cowboy diet”: hearty meals, early mornings, long days outdoors, and fewer distractions.
Perhaps one of the most uncanny citings other than the bison, elk and geysers was running into Bob Krueger of Brennan Investment Group and his wife at grandprism at the park totally by chance; he was as startled as I was. Reminder that it is a very small world afterall.
That time away gave me space to think, reset, and return to my Orlando office with renewed energy and a clearer perspective on my business. Back in the saddle in Orlando!
No cell service turned out to be a beautiful thing.
Sometimes disconnecting is exactly what we need to reconnect with our goals, our creativity, and the reasons we started in the first place.
